Following in his father’s footsteps, Ed brings boundless enthusiasm, energy and passion to his role as the Managing Partner at The Freeman Group. His in-depth knowledge of market trends, understanding of buying and selling economics, and ability to leverage all the tools at his disposal have allowed Ed to consistently achieve the best results for his clients.
His primary responsibilities include identifying, analyzing, and acquiring new development opportunities for the group’s portfolio of investors as well as working with buyers and sellers to assist them in accomplishing their objectives.
In 2024, Ed was the top agent on Long Beach Island and in Ocean County with over $100 million in sales volume.
Ed graduated from the Virginia Military Institute in 2008 and currently resides on LBI with his wife, Kera.
Founder and patriarch of The Freeman Group, Edward is well known throughout LBI as an extremely creative and knowledgeable real estate professional, specializing in luxury residential home sales and new construction. He attributes his success simply to understanding his customers needs, and working diligently to accomplish and exceed each of them. Edward considers his greatest accomplishment his long list of satisfied clients.
After receiving his B.S. in Accounting from the School of Commerce and Finance at Villanova University, Edward honed his financial skills at Merrill Lynch and Kidder Peabody. These skills have proved to be exceedingly valuable in navigating the LBI residential luxury home market for his clients.
Edward currently resides half the year in Beach Haven and half the year in Vero Beach, FL with his wife, Ellen.
Joe joins the Freeman Group with over a decade of sales success as International Sales Director at a promotional retail manufacturing company. Some of his clients included: CVS, the NY Mets and the Houston Astros.
As a native of Long Beach Island, Joe has been an entrepreneur from the start including founding and owning a custom surfboard manufacturing company (Old Soul Surfboards) from a young age.
Joe has brought all of these experiences and each of these skills together to distinguish himself as one of the premier high end agents on Long Beach Island, successfully representing clients on some of the largest Long Beach Island oceanfront transactions to date. Additionally, Joe brings a wealth of marketing and technology experience to the Freeman Group.

Tammy Laureigh brings more than 25 years of proven real estate expertise along the Jersey Shore to The Freeman Group. With an extensive track record of successful transactions across Monmouth and Ocean Counties, she offers deep regional knowledge and strategic insight for buyers and sellers navigating multiple coastal markets.
Over the past eight years, Tammy has built a thriving presence on Long Beach Island, becoming a trusted advisor in one of New Jersey’s most sought-after shore destinations. She played a key role in the successful marketing and sellout of the Islands End development in Holgate, demonstrating her strength in new construction, luxury marketing, and strategic positioning.
As a residential specialist both on and off Long Beach Island, Tammy is a consistent top producer with particular expertise in the second-home and coastal investment market. Known for her hands-on guidance and proactive communication, she manages every step of the real estate process with precision and care—reducing stress while maximizing results. Her commitment is simple: deliver exceptional service and advocate fiercely for her clients’ best interests, every time.
A proud veteran of the United States Air Force, Tammy brings discipline, integrity, and dedication to everything she does. She resides on Long Beach Island with her husband, Chris, and their four children, and is deeply invested in the community she serves.
Audrey joins the Freeman Group with a unique background in speech-language pathology and a life-long love for coastal construction. Audrey grew up coming to Long Beach Island where her father, Michael Pagnotta, is an established architect and builder. Audrey developed a keen eye for craftsmanship and design, which naturally led to a deep interest in the world of real estate.
Having observed the seamless collaboration between Michael Pagnotta Architecture and The Freeman Group, Audrey was inspired to become a part of this dynamic real estate team.
Audrey attended the University of Virginia, where she pursued both undergraduate and graduate studies in Speech-Language Pathology. This educational experience equipped her with excellent communication skills, and a deep understanding of human interactions, which are invaluable assets in the realm of real estate.
Bethany joins The Freeman Group with over a decade of Marketing experience, and having spent the last seven years in the real estate industry. Prior to joining our team she was the Director of Technology for a RE/MAX firm, assisting over 100 agents. During her career she specialized in brand marketing, print and digital advertising, public relations, social media and event management, email marketing and business administration and operations.
Bethany brings a dynamic background to her role as a Licensed Executive Assistant for The Freeman Group handling marketing, as well as working behind the scenes writing contracts, listing agreements, and ensuring all of our clients have a smooth transaction from start to finish.
Bethany graduated from Seton Hall University in 2012 with a degree in Public Relations and Communications. She currently resides on the mainland with her husband, Nick and their two children.
